WORLD CHESS RECORD


About 14,000 chess players packed into Mexico City´s largest square yesterday afternoon in an event that set a new Guinness record for the biggest number of simultaneously played games: Viva México!

Anatoly Kapov, the former world chess champion, was among national champions and several grand masters who joined in.


As it is known, the 2007 World Chess Championship will be held in Mexico City next September. CHECK INFO HERE.
